We are pleased to announce that a subsidiary of Greif, Inc. (Greif) has acquired Fustiplast S.r.l. (Fustiplast) from the Cassina Packaging Group.
Established in 1947 and specialized in industrial packaging, Fustiplast has been operating in the world of plastic materials for more than 40 years. Fustiplast is the Italian leader in plastic industrial packaging, and has strengthened its international presence with two plants in Germany and one in Brazil, as well as through a network of sales agents and licensees in various countries.
Thanks to continuous development under the leadership of Mr. Virginio Cassina and Ms. Anna Loredana Cassina, and high-level investments in technologies and training, the company has acquired a solid know-how that is constantly evolving, and owns numerous patents including several associated with Flubox®, the new-generation IBC container. Fustiplast also manufactures and sells plastic blow-moulded containers and PET bottles.
Mr. Virginio Cassina, who will remain with the company, is excited that the acquisition of Fustiplast by Greif will enable the expansion of Fustiplast’s manufacturing footprint around the globe, allowing a larger number of customers to benefit from its technology.
