Vreeland
The Vreeland site exists since 1930 when Bernard Van Leer came from Amsterdam to Vreeland to build a new factory.
In this historical building Brugzicht, which exists since 1723, is our European SBU (Strategic Business unit) located as well as the BU (Business Unit) Benelux and Scandinavia.
On the area behind Brugzicht our factories (drums and paint) are located as well as the offices with de Sales Department.
Drum Linings
Greif’s focus on customer needs has produced spectacular results. Our paint factory at Vreeland has developed a number of sophisticated internal drum linings. Today, those drum linings are sold to drum makers all over the world. Those drum linings form an integral part of our Regular Drum Lining System.
We also have a factory in Rotterdam- Europoort, which exists since 1992. This factory is the largest steel factory in the world.
Also in Europoort our department Operational support Group is located( former R & D)
